For soup lovers I am sure this is a recipe you will love. I made this for the family a few days ago and they loved it. It’s a simple potato soup recipe but you can add your own touches to suit your own taste

  •  6 Russett poatoes

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3 cups of chicken both
  • 1 cup of parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • Morton’s season salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Crushed red pepper
  • If desired you can add bacon bits and kale

  1. Peel and dice potatoes. Chop onions and garlic. In a medium-sized saucepan saute potatoes, onions and garlic in butter in medium-sized saucepan until potatoes begin to soften and onions and garlic are golden.

  2. Pour in heavy whipping cream, milk and chicken broth and bring to boil. Once mixture comes to a boil lower heat to simmer. If you ae going to use kale, which adds a great flavor and serves as garnishment, you can add at this point.

  3. Slowly add flour whiole stirring.  This will cause mixture to thicken a a bit.

  4. Add parmesan and mozzerella cheese and stir while adding. Flavor to tast with salt, black pepper and crushed red pepper.

Adding bacon bits gives it a wonder flavor

This recipe will serve 5 people generously
